School leadership is increasingly complex with many responsibilities. Distributed leadership, where leadership is shared across individuals, is more effective than hierarchical leadership. Distributed leadership involves shared responsibility, authority, synergistic collaboration, developing leadership capacity organization-wide, collective learning, equitable decision-making, and engaging the broader community. Head Teachers are establishing communities of learning among their schools to collaboratively address challenges through dialogue and develop a shared vision.
Introduction to Voice Broadcast System for schoolsKarnatakaOER
This document describes an Interactive Voice Response system using free and open source software that allows schools to send voice messages to parents and students by connecting a computer to a data card and SIM card. The system allows schools to record an audio message on a mobile phone or computer, transfer it to the computer, connect to a data card and SIM, input phone numbers, and use the Swara software to make voice calls to share information and notifications with parents and students quickly and inexpensively. Larger schools may prefer to use an external service provider for higher call volumes.
