This document introduces a learning map designed to provide on-the-spot learning opportunities for staff in an emergency department using QR codes and mobile devices. The map includes different topic areas and learning journeys that staff can access by scanning QR codes throughout the department. Staff are instructed to choose a route, scan the codes to open content, complete activities, and move to the next station. The goal is to help staff develop a better understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues in the emergency department context. An evaluation will be conducted to assess the experience as a new mobile learning approach.
