Get Kingston Active!
The ‘Get Kingston Active!’ is a charitable organization that aims to raise
awareness of obesity and health problems in the local community. We hope to
achieve this by providing solutions to individuals to help them with their own
personal situation when it comes to obesity.

Aims
 To promote the need for physical activity in the Royal
borough of Kingston, while bringing to light the lack of
physical activity being under taken by residents, reflecting
on the aged.
 To help encourage change by hosting events, providing
variation compositional activities.
 To emphasizing the consequences of not performing enough
exercise in daily life styles and identifying the link between
lack of exercise and poor health during periods of time.
 To advise residence on how to increase the level of physical
activity and the options available to them.

Objectives
 We want 45% of our members who are over the age of 45 years old and are
2-3% over the recommended Body Mass Index (BMI) to be within the
national standards for their age group within 4-5 months.
 We would like 150 members in 6 months; we hope to achieve this through the
utilization of advertising online and within the local community.
 We want to help members of the local community to reduce the possibilities
of obtaining diseases in relation to obesity; these diseases include diabetes
and heart disease. Through the monitoring of blood sugar and cholesterol
levels over a period of time. Each individual member will have different
variations in levels.
