Matthew Umbro, director of paid search at Exclusive Concepts and founder of PPC Chat, gave a presentation on generating winning product listing ad (PLA) results. He discussed different PLA formats on Google search and shopping, using product feeds to populate ads, and optimizing AdWords campaigns and ad groups based on product targets. The key lessons were to be aware of all PLA formats, create targeted campaigns and ad groups, exclude unwanted destinations, write promotional text ads, and continuously optimize campaigns.
