I have taught three graduate courses in the iMBA program: authority
and power dynamics in organizations, organizational process
consultation skills, and structured learning intervention for
organizational development. These are all intensive experiential
learning type courses that I personally designed. Additionally, for
exceptional students who complete the series there is an opportunity to
take part in a practicum. Additionally, during the last three years I have
been consulting with the Chair of the TV, Radio, and Film Department
of the Newhouse School of Public Communications on the
development of creative collaborative teamwork skills for students
involved in producing films and TV series. One of the TV series won a
college Emmy and 2 others won Tellie’s. I have also taught courses in
Creative Collaboration Team Dynamics for the departments of interior
and industrial design within the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
Additionally, for the past 3 years I have taught classes in the Public
Administration Department of the Maxwell School of Citizenship on
Smart Team Dynamics for Creative Collaboration to Mandela Fellows
in the Young African Leader Program initiated by President Obama. I
also designed and taught an intensive one-week coursein cross-cultural
leadership dynamics for iMBA student in Istanbul, Turkey.

Full-time position teaching graduate courses in leadership, group
development, authority and power dynamics in organizations,

Organization consultant for team development, organization development
and leadership development. Clients have included banks, small
manufacturing companies, pharmaceutical firms, National Iranian
Radio/TV network where I trained instructional developer in Creative
Collaboration Skills the year before the revolution, several universities, a
federal government agency, a county health department, a police
department, a VA hospital, other hospitals, and camp associations for
inner-city children in Boston and NYC. Additionally, I have been a staff
member for intensive human relations programs focused on personal
growth and group processes for the Continuing Educational Center of
Princeton Theological Seminary. I was also a staff member for a 10-day
Gestalt Therapy Graduate Course at the University of Rhode Island for 4
years, and taught several weekend Graduate Gestalt Therapy Courses at
Southern Connecticut State College.

Personal Growth Consultant
I have done several weekend and week-long personal growth groups in
White Plains, New York, Stamford, Connecticut, Syracuse, NY, and
Provincetown, Cape Cod since 1976. Since 2010 I have been doing
weekend personal growth groups based on my co-authored book:A View
from the Cosmic Mirror: Reflections of the Self in Everyday Life. I have
done these groups in Yellow Springs, Ohio; Monterey, California, Walnut
Creek, California, Austin, Texas, Old Forge, NY, Provincetown, MA. and
Syracuse, NY.
Community Service
I have worked as a certified AVP trainer as a volunteer group facilitator for
3-day intensive programs in non-violent conflict management for inmates in
maximum-security prisons in New York State. The programs were offered
through the Alternatives to Violence Project which was started by Intimates.
The program is voluntary for the intimates and outside facilitators. The staff
for all programs is a combination of intimate facilitators and outside
facilitators. There are 3 basic programs which include a basic workshop,
advanced workshop, and trainer development workshop. I have also been a
consultant for the first trainer development program for Equality Circles
which focus on dealing constructively with community wide racial dynamics
in Auburn, NY.

Dynamic Psychotherapy at the Cape Cod Summer Institute in

Completed certification program for administering and interpreting
the Myers/Briggs Type Indicator at the American Management
Association in New York City in September 2010.
Certified as a ProfessionalGroup Development Consultant by Certified
Consultants International (formerly the International Association of
Applied Social Scientists). 1977-1989. I also was for a time the Chair
of the North East Region handling certification and re-certification
processes for Laboratory Trainers, Group Development Trainers, and
Organizational Development Trainers.
Participated in four-week long group relations programs on leadership
and authority sponsored by the Washington/Baltimore Center of the A
K. Rice Institute. I also attended an advanced group process seminar,
focused on group consultation, held at the Washington School of
Psychiatry and sponsored by the Washington/Baltimore A.K. Rice
Center. The leaders for the seminar were Margaret Rioch, Ph.D. and
Marvin Geller, Ph.D. 1982-1987.
Postgraduate Diploma in Gestalt Therapy from the Gestalt Training
Center of San Diego, California, a three-month residential professional
training program for members of the helping professions led and
supervised by E. Polster, Ph.D. and M. Polster, Ph.D. 1976. In
conjunction with this training I did several therapist’s marathons with
Elizabeth Mintz, Ph.D. in and around New York City. 1974 –1979. She
is noted for her classic book “Marathon Groups: Reality and Symbol.
Additionally, Iattended somebodybased psychotherapyworkshops for
professionals in Bioenergetics and Psychomotor Therapy.
Recognized as both a Professional Personal Growth Consultant and a
Professional Group Development Consultant by the Association for
Creative Change in Religious and Other Social Systems. This was the
result of approximately 800 hours of supervised professional training
in the laboratory method of education primarily through the Laboratory
Trainer/Consultant Network under the Mentorship of K. A. Nakajima,
Ph.D. 1974 - 1978.

Additionally, during the last three years I have been consulting with the Chair of the TV, Radio, and Film Department of the Newhouse School of Public Communications on the development of creative collaborative teamwork skills for students involved in producing films and TV series. One of the TV series won a college Emmy and 2 others won Tellie’s. I have also taught courses in Creative Collaboration Team Dynamics for the departments of interior and industrial design within the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Additionally, for the past 3 years I have taught classes in the Public Administration Department of the Maxwell School of Citizenship on Smart Team Dynamics for Creative Collaboration to Mandela Fellows in the Young African Leader Program initiated by President Obama. I also designed and taught an intensive one-week coursein cross-cultural leadership dynamics for iMBA student in Istanbul, Turkey. Personal Growth Consultant I have done several weekend and week-long personal growth groups in White Plains, New York, Stamford, Connecticut, Syracuse, NY, and Provincetown, Cape Cod since 1976. Since 2010 I have been doing weekend personal growth groups based on my co-authored book:A View from the Cosmic Mirror: Reflections of the Self in Everyday Life. I have done these groups in Yellow Springs, Ohio; Monterey, California, Walnut Creek, California, Austin, Texas, Old Forge, NY, Provincetown, MA. and Syracuse, NY. Community Service I have worked as a certified AVP trainer as a volunteer group facilitator for 3-day intensive programs in non-violent conflict management for inmates in maximum-security prisons in New York State. The programs were offered through the Alternatives to Violence Project which was started by Intimates. The program is voluntary for the intimates and outside facilitators. The staff for all programs is a combination of intimate facilitators and outside facilitators. There are 3 basic programs which include a basic workshop, advanced workshop, and trainer development workshop.   • 6. Post Graduate Education Completion of 3 one-week courses in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy at the Cape Cod Summer Institute in Eastham, MA. 2011 to 2013. Completed certification program for administering and interpreting the Myers/Briggs Type Indicator at the American Management Association in New York City in September 2010. Certified as a ProfessionalGroup Development Consultant by Certified Consultants International (formerly the International Association of Applied Social Scientists). 1977-1989. I also was for a time the Chair of the North East Region handling certification and re-certification processes for Laboratory Trainers, Group Development Trainers, and Organizational Development Trainers. Participated in four-week long group relations programs on leadership and authority sponsored by the Washington/Baltimore Center of the A K. Rice Institute. I also attended an advanced group process seminar, focused on group consultation, held at the Washington School of Psychiatry and sponsored by the Washington/Baltimore A.K. Rice Center. The leaders for the seminar were Margaret Rioch, Ph.D. and Marvin Geller, Ph.D. 1982-1987. Postgraduate Diploma in Gestalt Therapy from the Gestalt Training Center of San Diego, California, a three-month residential professional training program for members of the helping professions led and supervised by E. Polster, Ph.D. and M. Polster, Ph.D. 1976. In conjunction with this training I did several therapist’s marathons with Elizabeth Mintz, Ph.D. in and around New York City. 1974 –1979.
