1. That’s right folks! The shocking rumors
are true! I have booked a flight and am
headed to India this coming May. “What
could possibly pull this strange young
man from his family, halfway around the
world for 6 weeks” you ask. Faith. Destiny.
Determination. Hope. A sense of duty and
honor to myself and the world I live in.
Not only will I be expanding my horizons
“Has he completely lost his mind!?”
“Is he crazy!?”
and exploring my faith and artistic vision on pilgrimage to see His Holiness the Dalai Lama at his residence
(in exile) in Dharamsala India, I will also be volunteering 3 weeks of my time through a unique volunteer
program called Cross-Cultural Solutions (CCS). CCS will place me into a unique program using my artistic and
educational skills to enrich the lives of others, as well as gain priceless experiences of cultural exchange and
perspective of my fellow global community.
But have no fear!
With close consultation with my doctors, wife, and daughter (she gives an enthusiastic “Eeee!”) it has been
decided that this short-term overseas trip was a fair and safe compromise to my original minimum 3-month
commitment through the Dharamsala Project.
“What’s more shocking than this crazy loon’s dreams and aspirations?” you may ask. I need YOU to help
me finance this trip! CCS has a program fee of $2600 which does not include airfare, vaccinations, and other
traveling expenses. But have no fear- there’s good news! CCS is a nonprofit organization, so any donation made
out to CCS (towards my program fee) is 100% tax deductible. I
have also included information on other investment, sponsorship,
and donation opportunities in this package for you to further
explore this exciting and meaningful journey.
I look forward to answering any questions you may have about
this project. I greatly appreciate any donations towards this worthy
and meaningful cause. Your financial donation is an integral part
to making this meaningful journey and dream come true. I’ve been
blessed to have so many supportive and understanding people in my
life- and I give thanks everyday to have such kindred spirits amongst
