3. What is GDG Women?
A Google Developer Group (GDG) is a volunteer based, independent
developer group focusing on Google related technologies and beyond. Among
the many technologies covered are Android, HTML, App Engine, Go, Dart,
Chrome, Google + API, YouTube API , Maps API and many, many more
technologies more or less related to Google.
GDG Women is a sub group of Google Developer's Group (GDG) dedicated for
Women , Using technology to help women realize their potential as leaders,
entrepreneurs and individuals.

4. What is GDG Women?
The GDG women Mombasa believes that women can play a huge part in this
industry. Irrespective of women without technical knowledge and skills, we
encourage non –developers as well as developers to contribute their ideas
and to collaborate within this community and transform into applications and
products to be commercialized in the global market.

5. Why GDG Women?
Google believes diversity and inclusion is important for thriving, vibrant
communities. Focusing on women-inclusion is the first step in a larger effort
to diversify the global Google developer community.
