Gastrofest is an annual event in Madrid where more than 400 restaurants offer taste-testing of their foods to introduce people to gastronomy. The event, running from January 23rd to February 7th, features various types of food sampling events like tapas tastings, cooking demonstrations, gourmet markets, and tours of cocktail bars and kitchenware stores to promote Madrid's cuisine and culture of food.
