Gaming in Education
~
Video games are everywhere, in the palm of our hands, with smartphones
and tablets, on our computer, on traditional consoles and even on television.
Seen as harmful in the past, as they theoretically encouraged violence and
distraction among young people, more and more games are now being used
as extra tools in the teaching/ learning process.
I chose the title «Gaming in Education» because, in my view, gaming in
Education must be valued. In my logo proposal we can see a book and a
video game controller in a single picture to show the connection between
Education, represented by the book, and Gaming, represented by the game
controller.
Traditionally, in our society, blue is associated to men and pink to women. I
joined the two colours which resulted into purple, because I wanted to show
that today gaming is genderless. It is accessible to everyone.
