2. HOW TO PLAY

•
•
You will need 1, 6-sided die
Costs $4 to play
Win every time!
Roll an even number and win $4
Roll an odd and win $1
This way, the expected outcome will have a house
advantage of $1.50 on every game.
5. CONCLUSION
• The results from the simulation data were pretty similar to the
expected outcome. Our theoretical mean was 2.5 and the
experimental mean was 2.62. Also, the standard deviation of
the theoretical was 1.5 and the standard deviation of the
experimental was 1.5 as well. We think this shows how
accurate our results were and that the experiment was carried
out properly and well.
• Instead of using two tables, we could have improved by
finding out a better way to display the data we found from
the experiment.
• We also could have maybe expanded on the ways to win
money instead of just odds or evens. We could have made a
rule where you lose all or your money or just some of it.
