The Galena Park Branch Library is open Monday from 10am to 6pm, Tuesday from 12pm to 8pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 6pm, Friday from 1pm to 6pm, and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. It is closed on Sundays. The library offers children's services including storytimes and programs, adult services such as reference help and computer assistance, teen services and programs, computers and laptops for use in the library, computer training classes, a meeting room available by reservation, and programs for all ages including storytimes, exercise classes, teen activities, and movies. The library also provides ESL and literacy help and citizenship preparation classes.
