Gabriella Vámosi is a Hungarian writer and poet born in Budapest in 1980. She writes fiction and poetry that explores themes of identity, belonging, and the immigrant experience. Her debut novel The Practice of Forgetting, published in 2014, tells the story of a Hungarian family that emigrates to Canada after the failed 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
