You may qualify for
Global Asset-Based Lending
from UPS Capital if your
business:
• Is domiciled in the U.S.
• Generates annual revenues of at least
$10 million
• Imports finished goods and certain
raw materials
• Stages/sources inventory outside
the U.S.
• Works with distribution centers located
outside the U.S.
• Provides “store-ready” shipments
outside the U.S.
• Uses UPS®
to move the goods
being financed
If your goods are warehoused offshore, or are in-transit from far-away places, that’s working capital
that’s not really working for you. You know exactly where your money is, but you just can’t put it to
work to help your business.
That’s where Global Asset-Based Lending from UPS Capital can help. You can borrow against of-
shore-warehoused or in-transit goods, as well as domestic inventory and receivables, to secure a
committed revolving line of credit that can improve your company’s liquidity and financial flexibility.
So you can expand a product line, consider a strategic acquisition or just make payroll.
Any traditional bank can lend against domestic receivables. But Global Asset-Based Lending from UPS
Capital goes far beyond. By leveraging the global logistics prowess of UPS, we can provide best-in-class
control and visibility that minimizes supply chain obstacles, while helping you navigate complicated
international trade laws.
Is your working capital
sitting in a warehouse
halfway around the world?

Secure working capital earlier in your supply chain
The enhanced visibility and control enabled by the UPS network lets you utilize more of your
inventory as collateral. Which means you typically get more availability on inventory than
traditional asset-based lenders will allow.
Because we control the goods, we can broaden the borrowing base to include foreign goods
in transit or inventory warehoused overseas. We may advance up to 50% of the cost of
inventory and up to 85% on receivables. And, since you get access to funds earlier, you can
negotiate better terms and decrease costs with suppliers, pass benefits on to your customers
and grow your business.
Where We Can Put Your Supply Chain To Work
Assumptions: Supplier is a non-U.S. entity. Buyer is in U.S. Supplier sells
goods on an open account. Incoterm Buyer (Ex. Works, FCA, FAS, FOB).
*Owned, operated or managed by UPS. Financing based on terms of trade
