1. Future of Indian Politics With Youth Leaders
Political system in India, unlike the West, is ruled by senior people. What it lacks is the
passion, determination and zeal of young political leaders. The current Indian parliament
system still has to move from the senior party member system and take on board young
politicians.
The hierarchical political tradition of senior politicians could be a major reason. Very few politicians
opt for voluntary retirement, diminishing the space for newcomers. The fact that youngsters shy
away from a career in politics cannot be ignored. Being viewed as a dirty game, youngsters are of the
opinion that the life of a politician is on shaky grounds, and corruption and political scandals taint
one’s life. However the political system here in India need young political leaders, who can instil
change in the current leadership style and steer forward the country to progress.
Since 2004, there has been a change in the trends. Young political leaders are seen in the political
front. Just like the rise of youth start-ups in India, young political leaders are seen making a career in
political grounds. But it cannot be denied that a majority of these young blood have stepped into
politics due to their lineage status, and chances of an outsider entering are quite slim.
It’s quite heartening to note that our country is being ruled by old people, whereas more successful

Young politicians have the heart and nature to foresee immediate technological and infrastructural
