Stevenson Eye Tracking With The Adaptive Optics Scanning Laser OphthalmoscopeKalle
Recent advances in high magnification retinal imaging have allowed for visualization of individual retinal photoreceptors, but these systems also suffer from distortions due to fixational eye motion. Algorithms developed to remove these distortions have the added benefit of providing arc second level resolution of the eye movements that produce them. The system also allows for visualization of targets on the retina, allowing for absolute retinal position measures to the level of individual cones. This paper will describe the process used to remove the eye movement artifacts and present analysis of their spectral characteristics. We find a roughly 1/f amplitude spectrum similar to that reported by Findlay (1971) with no evidence for a distinct
tremor component.
Kandemir Inferring Object Relevance From Gaze In Dynamic ScenesKalle
As prototypes of data glasses having both data augmentation and gaze tracking capabilities are becoming available, it is now possible to develop proactive gaze-controlled user interfaces to display information about objects, people, and other entities in real-world setups. In order to decide which objects the augmented information should be about, and how saliently to augment, the system needs an estimate of the importance or relevance of the objects of the scene for the user at a given time. The estimates will be used to minimize distraction of the user, and for providing efficient spatial management of the augmented items. This work is a feasibility study on inferring the relevance of objects in dynamic scenes from gaze. We collected gaze data from subjects watching a video for a pre-defined task. The results show that a simple ordinal logistic regression model gives relevance rankings of scene objects with a promising accuracy.

Istance Designing Gaze Gestures For Gaming An Investigation Of PerformanceKalle
To enable people with motor impairments to use gaze control to play online games and take part in virtual communities, new interaction techniques are needed that overcome the limitations of dwell clicking on icons in the games interface. We have investigated gaze gestures as a means of achieving this. We report the results of an experiment with 24 participants that examined performance differences between different gestures. We were able to predict the effect on performance of the numbers of legs in the gesture and the primary direction of eye movement in a gesture. We also report the outcomes of user trials in which 12 experienced gamers used the gaze gesture interface to play World of Warcraft. All participants were able to move around and engage other characters in fighting episodes successfully. Gestures were good for issuing specific commands such as spell casting, and less good for continuous control of movement compared with other gaze interaction techniques we have developed.

12. Безопасность передачи данных по протоколу FTP Протокол не шифруется, при аутентификации передаёт логин и пароль открытым текстом. Процесс нешифрованной авторизации проходит в несколько этапов: Установка TCP-соединения с сервером (обычно на 21 порт) Посылка команды USER логин Посылка команды PASS пароль Если к серверу разрешён анонимный доступ (как правило, лишь для загрузки данных с сервера), то в качестве логина используется ключевое слово «anonymous» или «ftp», а в качестве пароля — адрес электронной почты: USER anonymous PASS someone@email Чтобы предотвратить перехват трафика, необходимо использовать протокол шифрования данных SSL, который поддерживается многими современными FTP-серверами и некоторыми FTP-клиентами. 12
13. FXP FXP (FileeXchangeProtocol) — способ передачи файлов между двумя FTP-серверами напрямую, не закачивая их на свой компьютер . При FXP-сессии клиент открывает два FTP-соединения к двум разным серверам, запрашивая файл на первом сервере, указывая в команде PORT IP-адрес второго сервера. 13
19. Сервер FTP, в отличиии от BitTorrent, представляет единую физическую реализацию, скорость передачи данныхи надежность которого зависит от скорости и надежности канала до сервера.
