Kayla Lee conducted a food evaluation lab where she evaluated and compared cheddar cheese, chocolate pudding, saltine crackers, and a Gala apple. She familiarized herself with the tastes of sweeteners like confectioner's sugar, honey, and granulated sugar as well as fats like butter and olive oil. She rinsed with water between sampling each food and sweetener to cleanse her palate.
