Dear Harsh
I am glad to inform you that you would be taking over from Alpa kedia as a GIC for her erstwhile FSIP group.
I have appended a brief JD on the roles & responsibilities of a Groupincharge (GIC)
The Groupincharge will coordinate execution of the audit plan for the area of responsibility. The Groupincharge
will supervise and review work performed by the staff. In addition to planning and scheduling audits the primary
duties/responsibilities as a GIC would include the following :
Manpower Planning, resourcing, recruitment, allocation and management of staff according to changing
needs.
Representing the group while participating in the performance management process.
Assist in training and development of team members by providing on the job coaching, delivering constructive
and motivating feedback
Manage staff cost to revenue ratios within the group.
Ensure all team members participate in the training programmes organised by the Firm.
Motivate team members to take L&E instructing sessions thereby improving their own knowledge base and
sharing the same with others within the Firm.
Responsible for all administrative matters of group members viz: approving leave, OPE claims and others as
and when arises.
Initiate/facilitate/organise informal interactive/team building activities within the group
