Sir:

Greetings!

Pursuant to the National Competency Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS), the core of the Teacher
Education and Development Program (TEDP) of the government, as per new Teacher Education Curriculum
as reflected in CMO No. 30 s, 2004, all education students are required to enroll in Experiential Learning
Courses (ELC).

The Experiential Learning Courses are intended to provide education students with actual learning
experiences, in which they can observe, verify, reflect on, and practice the different components of the
teaching- learning process in a variety of authentic school settings. Such experiences, which are built around
mentoring, will begin with field observations under the Field Study Courses and will gradually intensify into
participation until students undertake student teaching.

Considering the significance of the Field Study Courses in the development of would- be teachers, we
would like to request approval for the interview of our Field Study Students to your school. The details of the
interview are as follows:

        Course/ Subject: Field Study 3 (Episode 1-3)
