This can be used for the presentation phase before the students move to the practice phase (this is in terms of ESL teaching and learning)

1. Eggs
-Inside jelly sponge
-Sticky wet
environment
Tadpole
-Eat their way out
from the egg
-Look like little fish
-Has tail but no legs
Tadpole with legs
-Swimming, wiggling,
jiggling
-Legs pop out
Froglet
-Begin to have four
legs and become fit
-Getting bigger
each day
Frog
-Has four new legs
for hopping
-Becomes adult frog
-Ready to live on land

2. LIFE CYCLE OF A
FROG

3. The first stage of the frog life cycle you
will see,
A female frog lays many eggs at one
time,
Inside all the sticky wet jelly sponge,
Keep the frog’s eggs safe,
And the eggs grow…(3x)

4. Then in the second stage you will see,
Tadpoles come out from the eggs,
They look more like little fish,
They have a tail, but no legs,
And the tadpoles grow…(3x)

5. Then, in the third stage you will see,
The tadpoles swimming,
Wiggling and jiggling,
Till the legs pop out,
And the legs grow... (3x)

6. Then, in the fourth stage you will see,
The tadpoles become froglets,
Froglets swim and they become fit,
Each day they are getting bigger,
And the froglets grow…(3x)

7. Then, in the last stage you will see,
They will have four new legs for
hopping,
And become the adult frogs,
The adult frogs are now ready to live on
land,
And the frogs grow….(3x)

8. In the pond, you will find new eggs,
And the new life cycle will begin again.
