Fried anchovies
This is a typical dish from Malaga. In my opinion this is the best fish dish I
have ever tasted. I’m sure you will like it.
Ingredients:
- 500g of fresh anchovies.
- Flour.
- Salt.
- Oil.
- 1 slice of lemon (optional).
Recipe :
1. First, we have to clean the anchovies well and remove the head and guts.
2. Then, we have to put the anchovies in a bowl with ice water to remove all
the blood for 5 minutes.
3. Now, it's time to dry them with kitchen paper.
4. Then, we salt them and pass them through flour.
5. Next,we have to fry the anchovies in oil at 175 degrees. We can fry them
in a pan or in a fryer. It takes 3 or 4 minutes.
6. Finally, we put the anchovies for a minute or two on absorbent paper to
remove the excess oil. After that, you can eat it.
7. You can add a few drops of lemon (this is optional).
