OF THEIR PLAN INCLUDING ADDITIONAL ROADWAYS AND SIDEWALKS.
THE VILLAGE HAS EXPRESSED STRONG SUPPORT FOR THE FREIDINE MODEL TO ACT
AS THE CORNER STONE AND ENTRANCE TO THE ENTIRE STRATEGIC PLAN AND HAVE

THE FREIDINE INDOOR SPORTS CENTER IS DESIGNED TO FOCUS ON SPORTS TRAINING AND COMPETI-
TION. THE FIELD HOUSE IS SIZED FOR A 70 YARD X 120 YARD ARTIFICIAL TURF FIELD (75,000 SQUARE
FEET) WITH A RUNOFF SPACE BEYOND THE LINE OF THE FIELD. THIS FACILITY WOULD CATER TO ATHLET-
ICS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
 11 ON 11, 7 ON 7, AND 5 ON 5 SOCCER LEAGUES;
 ADULT, HIGH SCHOOL, & TYKES SOCCER;
 JV AND VARSITY FALL AND WINTER TRAINING;
 7 ON 7 AMERICAN FOOTBALL YOUTH LEAGUE (10U-14U);
 BASEBALL;
 RUGBY;
 LACROSSE;
 BASKETBALL;
 FUTSAL;
 AND VOLLEYBALL.
Tournaments &Trade Shows
GIVEN THE SIZE AND FREESPAN DESIGN OF THE FIELD HOUSE IT WOULD BE IDEAL FOR FULL SIZED
TOURNMENTS AND TRADE SHOWS. WITH HOTELS AND OTHER AMENTITIES IN THE AREA, AND WITH THE
SITE’S PROXIMITY TO I-80, THE FACILITY WOULD BE A WELCOME CHOICE FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES WHO
