To prove fraudulent misrepresentation, a plaintiff must show: 1) the defendant made a false statement of fact, 2) the plaintiff relied on the truth of that statement, 3) the plaintiff was unaware that the statement was false, and 4) the plaintiff suffered damages as a result.
