Though the city is very large, the community is still able to stay close. People are able to recognize each other on the street an pubs. Furthermore, Frankfurt has a very affective bicycle system with bicycle lanes throughout the city. There is also a system where people are able to call a bike shop and have a bicycle delivered to them, and when they are finished, they just lock it up in the nearest intersection.
