Franchise Opportunities
Offering a revolutionary new concept in estate agency, as one of our franchisee’s you will
be able to deliver a fully personalised estate agency service at a fraction of the cost of
most high street agencies – by reducing unnecessary overheads, such as expensive high
street shops. This new model has been identified by many experts as the ‘future of estate
agency’ in this country, including the property media, the OFT and estate agents
themselves – with two thirds of agents believing that a high street presence will no longer
be required by 2016 or sooner.
As an independent owner and operator you will have the freedom to run and develop your
own business. You will benefit from the help, support and shared learning that comes from
being a part of a franchise. Full training is provided in running our software systems and
specialist support is also available.
All you need is the ability to run your own business and the desire to become successful.
How it Works
Franchisor – nu:move
1 A free comparable valuation on the property is provided by nu:move and sent to
the Franchisee.
2 On instruction from vendor, a nu:move executive is booked to provide the
following.
Energy Performance Certificate, photographs, a floor plan, and full property
description.
3 Our development team upload the property to our website and major property
portals, (Rightmove, Zoopla and Prime Location)
4 Reference checking, credit checking, assured tenancy agreements are
arranged for by nu:move.
5 Management of the Landlord’s accounts is carried out by nu:move.
6 nu:move arrange for the ‘for sale’, ‘to let’ or ‘auction’ boards to be erected.
7 nu:move provide feedback to the Franchisee via the ‘Buzz’ system through to
completion.
How it Works
Franchisee
1 Upon successful enrolment, the Franchisee represents nu:move in an Area of
Prime Responsibility (a dedicated geographical area within the UK)
2 The Franchisee is instructed to visit the vendor and give a free valuation (a
comparable valuation is provided by nu:move prior to the meeting)
3 The Franchisee accompanies potential customers at viewings and provides
feedback to nu:move.
4 The Franchisee also supplies feedback to vendor until property is sold or let.
5 In the case of lettings, an ‘in’ and ‘out’ inventory is produced by the Franchisee.
6 The Franchisee negotiates offers, acting as an intermediary between vendor, or
landlord, and customer to provide the best sale price.
7 The Franchisee provides feedback via our internal ‘Buzz’ system to nu:move.
License Fees and Costs
• Franchise License Fee £ 7000.00 + VAT (5 years license)
• Renewal Post Expiration £ 1300.00 + VAT (further 5 years)
• Management Service Fee £ 1300.00 + VAT (per annum)
• Marketing Fund Contribution £ 850.00 + VAT (per annum)
• Setup Fee £ 99.00 + VAT (Non Refundable)
On instruction nu: move retain £135.00 per property, this is for the following
• Property Photo’s, Floor Plans, Descriptive Property Details, EPC £100.00
• For Sale, Let, or Auction Board, Administration £35.00
nu: move and the franchisee share 50% - 50% thereafter of all streams of
income including Sales, Lets, Auction Fee, Finance, Rental Income.
Commitment Fees
Setup Fee £ 99 + VAT (non refundable).
A commitment fee of £700 (equivalent to 10% of the license fee, non-refundable) is
payable on commencement of our franchise agreement.
A Three month grace period is allowed for you to establish your nu:move franchise
within your Area of Prime Responsibility. Payment will commence thereafter, in 11
monthly payments (interest free).
Launch
On completion of the launch of your Franchise, you will receive.
nu:move leafleting for your Area of Prime Responsibility.
Personalised nu:move business cards.
Personalised nu:move email address.
Google adverts campaign within your Area of Prime Responsibility to increase
awareness of your nu:move franchise.
Microsoft desktop cloud software login access.
Nu: Move’s Cloud
Software – ‘The Buzz’
nu:move are excited to offer remote access software to our Franchisees, called ‘The
Buzz’. Updated daily by nu:move developers, the software allows for all properties
within your dedicated area to be seen (be it ‘for sale’, ‘to let’ or ‘for auction’). Included
within the ‘Buzz’ software is.
Live diary access, including 8 compartments with on-the-go information at your
disposable (including live information on sales, lettings, auctions, tenants,
landlords, appointments, follow ups and contacts).
Training of the system will be provided at either of our two development centres located
in Central London and Shropshire.
