This presentation proposes consolidating fire risk analysis (FRA) legislation and standards to improve accountability. It identifies shortcomings in current FRA application and prevention of fires like Grenfell Tower. Integrating existing laws on hazard identification, firefighting equipment requirements, and risk assessment standards would provide a stronger framework for protection, understanding, and tracing accountability. Key areas the consolidated FRA should address are cladding safety, active fire suppression systems, ventilation, gas risks, evacuation routes, and ensuring compartmentalization actually contains fires.
