It is about an NGO named Foundation for Social Transformation, situated in Guwahati. We the PGDM (2013-15 batch) students of Assam Institute of Management had to prepare a ppt about an ngo or entrepreneur working for North East. So we opted for this ngo.
2. Introduction
FST was registered in the year 2005 under Registrar of
Societies Act 1860.
The head office is in Guwahati and operates in the entire
North-East.
It works for the empowerment of women and youth affairs.
It does not work for political parties, secular religious
organisations and projects located or benefiting people
outside NE region
It welcomes volunteers.
Internship opportunities are available for students.

solidarity within and outside the region.

•FST imparts livelihood skills to women of NE Region.
•They are also trained in various topics.
Youth development
•It provides a platform for the youths called “Youth
collective”.

It support those organizations, working for social
renovation in north east India.
The organization's should also make an efforts to enhance
regional learning and networking through innovative
approaches.
Individual Fellowship Program
It cover expenses for training, travelling and research
works.
It also covers internships with corporations, civil society
organizations and educational institutions.
