This document summarizes a national service learning project in Colombia. The project aims to [1] design and build a robot that uses solar energy to locate metals underground, [2] facilitate metallic element searches using powerful magnets, and [3] reduce energy expenditure through solar panels. The project would benefit disabled people and soldiers by helping locate lost objects, landmines, and assist with daily tasks. It is estimated to take 10 months to complete and does not involve any companies or institutions in its formulation or financing.
