This document summarizes a national service learning project in Colombia. The project aims to [1] design and build a robot that uses solar energy to locate metals underground, [2] facilitate metallic element searches using powerful magnets, and [3] reduce energy expenditure through solar panels. The project would benefit disabled people and soldiers by helping locate lost objects, landmines, and assist with daily tasks.
