What is invocation? What are the means of invoking Allah?
Allah has revealed the means of invoking Him in the Holy Qur’an: “O you who believe! Do your duty to Allah and fear Him. And seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause (as much as you can), so that you may be successful” [Al-Ma'idah 5:35]

Hajj and Tawheed: Hajj is to set out for Makkah to worship Allaah by performing certain religious rights in accordance with the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) Sunnah. It is a time in which to call upon Allaah to purify the self from any worship to anyone other than him.
This booklet explains the basic rights of Hajj. It also notes that the tawheed of Allaah requires the Muslim to follow the perfect way of worship, demonstrated by Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and as understood by the Sahaabah who were the best of mankind.

This book deals with fiqh issues specific to women regarding menstruation, post partum (Nifaas), and abnormal bleeding (Istihadah).Shaykh Uthaymeen brings proofs from the Quran and Sunnah. Widely Referenced book for Women.
All praise is due to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help and forgiveness. We return to Him alone in repentance, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and from our wrong deeds. Whosoever Allah guides there is none who can misguide, and whosoever Allah misguides there is none who can guide. I bear witness that there is no god worthy of being worshipped except Allah Who is free from any partners or associates. I bear witness that Muhammad is the true slave and messenger of Allah (SW1), may the Salah2 of Allah be upon him.
It is common that there are three types of menses among women:
1) Menstrual Period,
2)Istihadah: bleeding from the womb between women periods, and
3) Nifass (post-delivery).
The explanations of these matters in accordance with the evidences from Qur’an and Sunnah is very important and beneficial, because:
a) the Qur’an and Sunnah represent the only sources for all of the Decrees of Allah.
b) in referring to these sources one achieves a state of peace, comfort and relaxation as well as relief for having the requirements of worship (in this case purification from menses) made known.
c) any other reference lacks the quality of perfection of the proofs of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
When a person looks around him he will see all these communities whom all ascribe themselves to Islām, and all of them claim to work for the sake of raising its flag and spreading it. At this point none is able to separate the truth from the falsehood and the light from the darkness, except the one who obtained the light of Allāh in his heart, and has opened up towards it and is pleased with it, so he (as a result of this) walks upon the straight path.
WINDING UP of COMPANY, Modes of DissolutionKHURRAMWALI
Winding up, also known as liquidation, refers to the legal and financial process of dissolving a company. It involves ceasing operations, selling assets, settling debts, and ultimately removing the company from the official business registry.
Here's a breakdown of the key aspects of winding up:
Reasons for Winding Up:
Insolvency: This is the most common reason, where the company cannot pay its debts. Creditors may initiate a compulsory winding up to recover their dues.
Voluntary Closure: The owners may decide to close the company due to reasons like reaching business goals, facing losses, or merging with another company.
Deadlock: If shareholders or directors cannot agree on how to run the company, a court may order a winding up.
Types of Winding Up:
Voluntary Winding Up: This is initiated by the company's shareholders through a resolution passed by a majority vote. There are two main types:
Members' Voluntary Winding Up: The company is solvent (has enough assets to pay off its debts) and shareholders will receive any remaining assets after debts are settled.
Creditors' Voluntary Winding Up: The company is insolvent and creditors will be prioritized in receiving payment from the sale of assets.
Compulsory Winding Up: This is initiated by a court order, typically at the request of creditors, government agencies, or even by the company itself if it's insolvent.
Process of Winding Up:
Appointment of Liquidator: A qualified professional is appointed to oversee the winding-up process. They are responsible for selling assets, paying off debts, and distributing any remaining funds.
Cease Trading: The company stops its regular business operations.
Notification of Creditors: Creditors are informed about the winding up and invited to submit their claims.
Sale of Assets: The company's assets are sold to generate cash to pay off creditors.
Payment of Debts: Creditors are paid according to a set order of priority, with secured creditors receiving payment before unsecured creditors.
Distribution to Shareholders: If there are any remaining funds after all debts are settled, they are distributed to shareholders according to their ownership stake.
Dissolution: Once all claims are settled and distributions made, the company is officially dissolved and removed from the business register.
Impact of Winding Up:
Employees: Employees will likely lose their jobs during the winding-up process.
Creditors: Creditors may not recover their debts in full, especially if the company is insolvent.
Shareholders: Shareholders may not receive any payout if the company's debts exceed its assets.
Winding up is a complex legal and financial process that can have significant consequences for all parties involved. It's important to seek professional legal and financial advice when considering winding up a company.

1. WHY SHOULD WE OFFER NAMAZ
The word Islam is generally understood to mean: ‘Submission to
the Will of Allah (SWT)’: The Will of Allah (SWT) is made known to
us through the Holy Quran. The Quran, in addition to various facts,
contains instructions ordering as to do certain things and not to do certain
others. The way one should submit to the Will of Allah (SWT), that is,
obey His orders given in the Holy Quran, has been demonstrated by
Prophet Muhammed (SAWS). A Muslim would therefore be defined as a
person who obeys the orders of Allah (SWT) in accordance with the
instructions given by Prophet Muhammed (SAWS). The instructions,
saying and deeds of Prophet Muhammed (SAWS) are known as the Hadis.
If the order to offer Namaz (Salaat in Arabic) is given in the Holy Quran
and Hadis and if we claim ourselves to be Muslims then it becomes our
duty to obey the order. Let us, therefore, search the Holy Quran and
Hadis understand them thoroughly and find out, why should we offer
Namaz and whether offering Namaz is compulsory or optional?
According To Holy Quran :

house was opened and Gabriel descended, opened my chest, and
washed it with Zamzam water. Then he brought a golden tray
full of wisdom and faith and having poured its contents into my
chest, he closed it. Then he took my hand and ascended with me
to the nearest heaven, when I reached the nearest heaven, Gabriel
said to the gatekeeper of the heaven, 'Open (the gate).' The
gatekeeper asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel answered: 'Gabriel.' He
asked, 'Is there anyone with you?' Gabriel replied, 'Yes,
Muhammad I is with me.' He asked, 'Has he been called?'
Gabriel said, 'Yes.' So the gate was opened and we went over the
nearest heaven and there we saw a man sitting with some people
on his right and some on his left. When he looked towards his
right, he laughed and when he looked toward his left he wept.
Then he said, 'Welcome! O pious Prophet and pious son.' I asked
14. 14
Gabriel, 'Who is he?' He replied, 'He is Adam and the people on
his right and left are the souls of his offspring. Those on his right
are the people of Paradise and those on his left are the people of
Hell and when he looks towards his right he laughs and when he
looks towards his left he weeps.' Then he ascended with me till
he reached the second heaven and he (Gabriel) said to its
gatekeeper, 'Open (the gate).' The gatekeeper said to him the
same as the gatekeeper of the first heaven had said and he
opened the gate. Anas said: "Abu Dhar added that the Prophet ()
met Adam, Idris, Moses, Jesus and Abraham, he (Abu Dhar) did
not mention on which heaven they were but he mentioned that he
(the Prophet) met Adam on the nearest heaven and Abraham on
the sixth heaven. Anas said, "When Gabriel along with the
Prophet passed by Idris, the latter said, 'Welcome! O pious
Prophet and pious brother.' The Prophet asked, 'Who is he?'
Gabriel replied, 'He is Idris." The Prophet added, "I passed by
Moses and he said, 'Welcome! O pious Prophet and pious
brother.' I asked Gabriel, 'Who is he?' Gabriel replied, 'He is
Moses.' Then I passed by Jesus and he said, 'Welcome! O pious
brother and pious Prophet.' I asked, 'Who is he?' Gabriel replied,
'He is Jesus. Then I passed by Abraham and he said, 'Welcome!
O pious Prophet and pious son.' I asked Gabriel, 'Who is he?'
Gabriel replied, 'He is Abraham. The Prophet added, 'Then
Gabriel ascended with me to a place where I heard the creaking
of the pens." Ibn Hazm and Anas bin Malik said: The Prophet
said, "Then Allah enjoined fifty prayers on my followers when I
returned with this order of Allah, I passed by Moses who asked
me, 'What has Allah enjoined on your followers?' I replied, 'He
has enjoined fifty prayers on them.' Moses said, 'Go back to your
Lord (and appeal for reduction) for your followers will not be
able to bear it.' (So I went back to Allah and requested for
reduction) and He reduced it to half. When I passed by Moses
again and informed him about it, he said, 'Go back to your Lord
as your followers will not be able to bear it.' So I returned to
Allah and requested for further reduction and half of it was
reduced. I again passed by Moses and he said to me: 'Return to
your Lord, for your followers will not be able to bear it. So I

returned to Allah and He said, 'These are five prayers and they
are all (equal to) fifty (in reward) for My Word does not change.'
I returned to Moses and he told me to go back once again. I
replied, 'Now I feel shy of asking my Lord again.' Then Gabriel
took me till we '' reached Sidrat-il-Muntaha (Lote tree of; the
utmost boundary) which was shrouded in colors, indescribable.
Then I was admitted into Paradise where I found small (tents or)
walls (made) of pearls and its earth was of musk."

A man from among the people of Najd with disheveled hair came to the
Messenger of Allah. The humming sound of his voice could be heard but
what he was suing could not be understood he came near and it was then
known that he was asking about Islam. The Messenger of Allah said: Five
times of prayer each day and night: He asked: Must I observe any more than
them ? He replied: No, unless you do it voluntarily. He (Talhah) said that the
Messenger of Allah mentioned fasting during the month of Ramadan. He
asked: Must I observe anything else ? He replied: No, unless you do it
voluntarily. The Messenger of Allah mentioned Zakat to him. He asked:
Must I pay anything else ? He replied: No, unless you do it voluntarily. The
man then turned away saying: I swear any Allah, I shall not add anything to
this or fall short of it. The Messenger of Allah said: The man will be

In view of the above passages quoted form Holy Quran and Hadis,
offering Namaz is an order of Allah (SWT) and His messenger and in
view of the fact that we are Muslims that is those who are required to obey
Allah and Prophet Muhammed (SAWS), offering Namaz is our duty that
should not be avoided.
1. Namaz is the most important deed after Iman.
2. Due to it we get peace of mind and heart.
3. It keeps us away from evil and shameful deeds.
4. It wipes off sin.
5. If we do not offer Namaz we go nearer to disbelief, the punishment for
which is hell.
6. The reward for being regular at Namaz is paradise. Besides offering
Namaz or doing anything good is for our
own benefit, in no way do we oblige Allah (SWT) because He is free from
all wants. In fact we should be thankful to Allah (SWT) to have selected
us from amongst millions of human beings to stand before Him offering
Namaz and thereby getting reward both in this world and in the life
hereafter death.
18. 18
II. WHOM SHOULD WE WORSHIP?
Let us search the Quran and see what should be the object of our worship
while offering Namaz.
The Holy Quran states :
سوا کے اس لوگ یہ کو جن اور ہے کا اسی تو پکارنا سودمندکی ان وہ ہیں پکارتے

“He is the One who turns towards you and so do His angels that He
may bring you out from the darkness to light.”
(AL-Ahzaab ابَزٴحالا )سورة
(Ch :33 Vs:43)
It is clear from the above verses of the Holy Quran that we are
required to worship and serve only Allah (SWT) and no one else.
Worshipping anything other than Allah (SWT) and considering that Allah has
partners are sins known as Kufr and Shirk which will not be forgiven and the
punishment of which is hell. It is of utmost importance that we should be
very clear and correct in our belief (Iman), that: Allah (SWT) is the Greatest,
the Most Powerful, no one is equal to Him in anything, Everything good or
bad happens by his command, no one can stop Him from doing anything He
wishes, He is the Supreme, the only Master of everything everywhere.
If there were two or more gods then each God would have had his own
followers and all the followers of each god would have got their food, water,
air, clothing etc. from their respective gods. On the contrary, all human
beings, animals and plants get their food, water and all other necessities from
common sources which proves that God is ONE, that is Allah (SWT) and
besides Him there is no other God. He has created everything and has full
control on everything. He brings us to life and causes us to die. He knows
everything, is always watching us whether we are busy worshiping Him or
doing anything else. He helps everyone but does not need any one's help. He
has neither parents nor children, He is alone. No one is like Him, He is the
Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful, the Cherisher and Sustainer of
everything everywhere.
We should worship only Allah (SWT) and ask only Him for all help,
do all that He has ordered us to do and abstain from that which He has
21. 21
forbidden because He rewards the good and punishes the evil. In the known
and the unknown universe everything is created by Allah (SWT). We should
not worship anything created but worship only the CREATOR, that is,
ALLAH (SWT)and serve only Him...
III. WHERE SHOULD WE OFFER NAMAZ?
People of different religions have places of worship like the churches/
temples etc. Where should we Muslims worship Allah (SWT), that is, offer
Namaz?
The Quran states:
And establish worship (Salaat) and give charity (Zakat) and bow down
with those who bow down. (Ch:2 Vs:43)

How long the space of time (between their setting up)? He (the
Holy Prophet) said: It was forty years. And whenever the time

Namaz can be offered at home under abnormal and unavoidable
circumstances like severe cold, heavy rains, serious illness etc. It is better to
offer Namaz in the mosque, but if due to some reason it is not possible, then
it should be offered at home but in no case should it be missed.
