Lou Scheidt, the leader of Innovative Engineering, discussed several key ideas and lessons learned over his 44 years in business at an Engage for Business event. Some of the main points he highlighted included that in business you will have mentors or mistakes, mistakes during difficult economic times are more costly, knowledge is best learned from observation rather than being taught, you need to have passion and purpose in your work, and accumulating wealth is a learned skill. The event was sponsored by BOLD Ministry and the Church of Grace & Peace to benefit the local business community.
