Biovela is Lithuania's largest meat processing group, founded in 1994 and located in Dūkštos, Vilnius Region. It employs over 1,600 people across four subsidiary companies that specialize in fresh meat processing, meat production, export, and logistics. Biovela uses modern facilities and equipment to produce over 1,000 meat products annually for consumers in Lithuania and abroad. The group has an annual turnover of 118 million euros and produces around 47,000 tons of meat and meat products per year, making it one of the largest meat producers in Central Europe.

and Ziobiskio veisliniu kiauliu kompleksas. All of
these employ more than 1,600 people. The group’s key
specialisations include processing of fresh meat, meat
production, export of fresh meat and meat products,
and logistics.

5.  Our offers now span to over 1,000 products to
impress even the pickiest consumers. Each product is
unique and developed to meet the changing consumer
needs, the formed standard of taste and consumption
habits.

6.  The production process employs modern meat
shredders, product formation machines, efficient meat
salting, frying and massaging, maturing, thermal
processing, chilling and freezing and frozen meat
thawing facilities.

 The Group employs more than 1,600 qualified
professionals and managers.
 Have a modern slaughterhouse which meets EU
standards.
 The production process is supplied with a quality
self-control system (HACCP).

8.  Raw materials and intermediate and final products are
controlled using Food Scan, which is the most
advanced food product analyzer.
 They offer transportation, storage, sorting,
distribution, labeling and packaging services both in
Lithuania and in the EU states.
 They are the country’s only ones to have this type
of Italian-manufactured equipment for maturing
cured sausages and hams.
