My Folktale The Wolf and the Two sheep There  was once a time when wolves had very short legs.  One wolf named Siberia.  You never want to mess with Siberia.  Why not?  Well you’ll find out in the story. Once in a calm meadow there were two sheep.  They didn’t have names.  Then one day Siberia came to the meadow.  The sheep became worried so they set a trap.  When Siberia saw the sheep she hid. When Siberia pounced the sheep moved quickly.  Then SNAP! The trap went off.  There was a rope around Siberia’s legs.  When she tried to run her legs stretched out. As Siberia’s legs got longer they got skinnier and slipped out of the rope.  So she ran away.  So that is why wolves have long legs.
