SYSTEMS
a strong brand in Europe
Mercor was established in 1988 and is today an international corporate group,
using its advantages of knowledge, experience, and innovative potential to drive
the business forward.
We are a public company, with Mercor’s shares being listed on the Warsaw
Stock Exchange since 2007.
We have built a strong European brand, and we can proudly state that for almost
30 years we have been delivering safety and offering comprehensive solutions
in the area of passive fire protection systems for the construction engineering
market. Our presence is increasingly seen on non-European markets, including
those in Asia, Africa and South America. We are open to new challenges and for
cooperation with new business partners.
In all our operations we follow the rules from our Book Of Quality, which high-
lights a simple truth – we exist and progress because of our clients and for our
clients.

The priority during a fire is to
evacuate everyone from the
building, efficiently and quickly.
Smoke exhaust systems enable
the removal of smoke and hot
gases from the building, espe-
ciallyfromtheevacuationroutes.
Our smoke exhaust systems, by
maintaining areas of low smoke
levels and by enhancing visibil-
ity, aid the fire brigades in their
operations.

Fire ventilation systems, like
smoke exhaust systems, are
intended to separate smoke
and heat-free spaces from the
fire zones. During a fire, these
systems maintain a temper-
ature reduction in the rooms
and work as an air intake. Fire
ventilation systems are also
used for ventilation purposes
in the day-to-day operation of
the building. Depending on the
type, each product from our of-
fer has a fire resistance class
of between 60 and 120 minutes.
FIRE PROTECTION
OF BUILDING STRUCTURES
SPRAY SYSTEMS
SEALING SYSTEMS
MAGNESIUM BOARD SYSTEMS
ACOUSTIC PLASTERS
The application of fireproof pro-
tection allows us to achieve an ap-
propriate fire resistance class for
a building structure, which means
that during a fire it maintains its
carrying capacity for the time
specified by the regulations. The
systems provided by Mercor Group
ensure the maintenance of the cor-
rect fire resistance class by steel
and reinforced concrete structures
for as long as 240 minutes, as well
as wooden constructions, electric
cables and wall-penetrating instal-
lation devices.

The safety of mid- or high-rise buildings
and skyscrapers, such as modern offic-
es, apartments or hotels, highly depends
on the correct design and implementa-
tion of fire ventilation systems. Fireproof
protection for constructions, especially
installation sealing systems, also apply
in these types of building.

Airports, train and metro stations are ob-
jects requiring comprehensive protection
for fire scenarios. Fire ventilation, both
mechanical and gravitational, as well as
fireproof construction protection systems
are important implementations for the
structure. The fire protection boards and
sprays, including with increased acoustic
insulation, are used especially in the case
of metro lines and tunnels (both road and
railway).

many more. This category includes both
listed and modern buildings – the execu-
tion of bold architectural vision. To provide
these objects and their users with the re-
quired level of safety during a fire, we use
comprehensive fire ventilation systems,
gravitational smoke exhaust systems and
fire protection of building structures.

PRODUCTION PLANTS,
LOGISTIC CENTRES,
WAREHOUSES
Production plants and warehouses, as
well as logistic centres, are all construc-
tions in which fire safety depends mostly
on properly designed and implemented
smoke exhaust systems. Smoke vents
(both with leafs and louvers), continuous
rooflights with smoke vents, air com-
pensating devices, and smoke curtains
– these are just some examples of the
system units that we comprehensively
provide for production plants. Our devices
help not only to remove smoke, they also
improve illumination, and ensure a fresh
air supply.

HEAVY ENGINEERING,
REFINERIES
Industrial constructions, especially those
related to crude oil processing, require
particularlyrestrictiveprotectionsystems
to cover a fire scenario. For refineries, the
fire curve taken into account is the hydro-
carbonic one, indicating a very dynamic
temperature growth in time. It is crucial
to assure proper carrying capacity of the
construction elements for a specific pe-
riod of time, often up to 240 minutes. For
this category of objects we dedicate our
best class protection systems, especially
heavy sprays.

PRODUCTION PLANTS, LOGISTIC CENTRES, WAREHOUSES Production plants and warehouses, as well as logistic centres, are all construc- tions in which fire safety depends mostly on properly designed and implemented smoke exhaust systems. Smoke vents (both with leafs and louvers), continuous rooflights with smoke vents, air com- pensating devices, and smoke curtains – these are just some examples of the system units that we comprehensively provide for production plants. Our devices help not only to remove smoke, they also improve illumination, and ensure a fresh air supply. • 18. HEAVY ENGINEERING, REFINERIES Industrial constructions, especially those related to crude oil processing, require particularlyrestrictiveprotectionsystems to cover a fire scenario. For refineries, the fire curve taken into account is the hydro- carbonic one, indicating a very dynamic temperature growth in time. It is crucial to assure proper carrying capacity of the construction elements for a specific pe- riod of time, often up to 240 minutes. For this category of objects we dedicate our best class protection systems, especially heavy sprays.
