This week, I booked my meeting with my Project Manager for March 5
th
, in this I have to do a pitch about my project.
I started my project this week by researching popular kids shows from around the 50’s and those at this present day and why. There were a few iconic ones I found such as Tom
and Jerry, Regular Show etc. I also researched the environments from the 50’s and in the future.
I also had to research Cell Animations to see what it is and how it works, since I am doing a Cell Animation for my FMP.
Finally, from my research I collected earlier in that week, I started thinking of story ideas that could blend both classic and modern cartoon show elements together.

This week, I continued story planning and developed a Story Board, coming up with a Sci-Fi Sitcom that involves Time-Travel; I also researched shows which were popular from
surveys that I made last week like Tom and Jerry, Ed Edd n Eddy, Adventure Time etc.
I did my pitch this week as well, explaining what I plan to do with my FMP, what I have been researching, what I have found etc. I talked about the environment of both the past
and the future, even technology from the past and future and the cartoons made past and present.

I began researching my findings to get an idea of what sort of humour was in those cartoons and take ideas from those. I also finished it within the same week and began to get
more ideas for my story, I also got the risk assessment done this week, making myself aware of possible hazards and how they can happen.

This week I did the pre-production of my FMP, I had to figure out how much everything I would need to do my FMP would cost, getting all of the stuff I needed etc.

This week, I made a start at producing the backgrounds that I plan to use based on the storyboards I did, I decided to design them in black and white because most cartoons in
the past were in a Black and White Style. The backgrounds I did this week were both outside buildings next to roads.

I had finished all my black and white backgrounds this week and moved on to start designing different backgrounds for Flash, most of which were based in a single room from
different perspectives, from the back, the front, etc.

2. Wednesday

I updated my schedule this week as I knew that I wasn’t going to have enough time to finish the project off, so I extended it by taking 2 weeks off my spare time. I started doing
the Animations of my Characters. I started with the Futuristic Scenes since I had already done those on Flash.
I did the Scene of when the Main Character “Tinuem”, goes to the future. I got half way through doing this since this was a really long Scene.

I finished 2 scenes this week; including the one I got half way though. The second Scene that I finished was of hover cars flying outside as my main character was looking at them.
I started work on the scene where Tinuem’s Future self finds his past self in his home, mistaking him for an intruder.

I finished the Scene mentioned last week while moving onto the scene where the 2 Tinuems are talking to one another. However, during the week, the file got corrupt so I had to
start again from the previous file, I did manage to catch up with my work by the end of the week though by getting half way through the second scene again. I then began the
scene where Future Tinuem explains about the robot power core and what dangerous effects it could cause if not properly used.

3. Wednesday

I finished the explanation scene midway through the week. I then did the final scene where Past Tinuem returns to his own time. I also did a Title scene and a To be continued
scene. I also had to edit my schedule since I didn’t feel that I would have enough time to finish.

This week, I had to tweak any minor problems with my animation and delete the scenes that I wasn’t going to need or use.

I finished my Animation, I then had to screen capture it, then load it onto Adobe Premier, then I saved it as MPEG2 to upload to YouTube and upload that onto Blogger. I also did
my Evaluation this week.
