2. A multi purpose fleet
WAV operates a fleet of new, flexible DP-3 construction / accommodation vessels, based on a hybrid
design configuration that combines the following key characteristics:
Class 3 Dynamic Positioning System
Large unobstructed decks
Ability to install rigid pipe and / or flexible pipe
High capacity cranes ranging from 270 to 1,800 tonnes
Large accommodation capacities of between 298 and 469 persons
Who we are
West African Ventures (WAV), established in 2000, is a 100% Nigerian company and a leading
indigenous provider of offshore engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and vessel charter
services. With corporate headquarters in Lagos, marine support base & shipyard in Warri, dry-dock
and fabrication facilities in Onne Oil & Gas Free Zone, WAV continues to provide excellent offshore
support services to the Nigerian oil & gas sector.

3. Additional offshore and
inshore services
WAV owns and operates a fleet of 43 offshore support
vessels and 6 Moored Construction / Pipelay /
Accommodation barges operating in Nigeria and along
the West African coast. The company also operates a
fleet of 134 inland support vessels in the Niger Delta
and its upstream swamps.
In addition, WAV operates a fabrication yard and
logistic base at Onne Oil & Gas Free Zone Nigeria,
providing its customer a wide range of construction,
fabrication and maintenance services. WAV also
operates dry-dock facilities at Onne and Warri to
maintain its offshore marine support fleet and its
inland fleet.
Due to the hybrid design configuration of the DP-3 vessel fleet, WAV offers its clients a wide range of
versatile solutions for their project needs. This versatility allows the company to cross over traditional
market sector boundaries and offer the following range of services:
SURF services, involving EPIC of subsea oil and gas pipelines and subsea infrastructure
Conventional services, involving EPIC of production platforms and associated pipelines
Decommissioning services
Flotel services, involving accommodation services requiring high level of connectivity
