This document describes various travel opportunities for students at Houston Christian including missions, educational, and adventure trips through three programs: Beyond These Walls, Globe Trek, and Project 2020. Globe Trek offers 15-day trips to exotic locations like Turkey, Spain, and Belize for cultural immersion and activities. Project 2020 includes a mission trip to Nicaragua to assist local people through service.

1. ADVENTURES IN TRAVEL
Beyond These Walls, Globe Trek, Project 2020
Houston Christian provides a variety of travel opportunities for students including missions, educational, and
adventure trips. Through our Beyond These Walls program, students learn firsthand about other countries
and their cultures.
Spend 15 days in some of the most exotic regions of the world with a
select group of students in a cross-cultural setting.
• Ride a hot air balloon. GLOBE TREK
• Shop the bazaars of Istanbul.
• Horseback ride in Cappadocia to see where the
first Christians escaped Roman persecution.
Turkey
June 12-26, 2013
• Navigate the Bosphorus between two continents,
Europe and Asia.
• Visit the sea coast resort of Oludeniz.
• Sail the Aegean between Turkey and Greece.
• Learn how to manage logistics, finances, research and
cross-cultural communication from highly experienced
HC travelers.
