It is with great pleasure to have the opportunit,v- to write this letter of recommendation for Kasie Wimmer.
Kasie has been employed rvith Cadton Senior Living for eight years. tbur of which has been under my direct
superv'ision. I initially hired Kasie into a management role to oversee the programming for our rlew community,
Carlton Plaza of Elk Crove. Ihis being a nerv assisted living facility housing 150= residents, Kasie achieved great
success as she solely developed and irnplemented the activity program lor the cornmunity. [n doing this. she
overcame nrany challenges sucli as balancing marketing needs and resident expectations, marntaining budgetary
standards rvith rnitimal staffing and supplies, and developing a communily lifestyle appeaiiag enough to be the
driviag factor for new residents to move in. Kasie became an integral role in Carlton Plaza of Elk Crove filling to
resident capacity ahead oftarget, due to her engaging program and focus on custofiier satisfaction.
It becarle evident to me that Kasie's success was due to an underlying streagth in organization, tearrr building,
imovation, and ability to adapt challenges into success stories. I knew very quickly that Kasie's talents were
underutilized in her current role, and looked for a new opporrunity to maximize her potential. This is how Kasie
came to be the community's Director of Resident Services; a position which oversees the nursing, medication, and
care stafF-as well as the clinical risk for all residents. This position is seen as "second in com*and" for &e
eommunity, a role Kasie was well suited for due to her leadership skiils. Kasie took on this new position with
passion and cornmitment. Within a few months, she successfuily raised the clinical profit margin by 20o/o, reduced
staffing turnover by 3Ao/o, and significantly reduced the clinical risk for the community residents through her
creation of new systerns and programs. Kasie's team of over 40 employees quickly becarne loyal to her leadership,
communicated high job satisfaction, and became the community erample for a reliable and hardworking team.
Kasie's amazing success led rne to yet again want to offer her, and the community, a new way to maximize her
potentia!. Since her position was aiready the highest in respansibility ortside of my own, I had to think outside the
box to do just that. This is how Kasie's next promotio[ came to be...as I offered to expand her role to also oversee
the entire Memory Care department. This expansior in responsibilities required Kasie to take on the direct oversight
of the highest and mosi complex residents Lr the building, and oversee an additional 25 emplolees. Kasie took on
this new assignment and duplicated her recent success ir the Memory Care department.
I attibute Ka,iie's many accomplishrnents to her desire to overcome. She sees a challecge which most people
believe is insurrrountable, and develops it irto an oppornrnity to achieve great success. She does this through being
extrernely thoughtful and creative in developing solutions. These solutions become new systems and protocols
which allow for long term, efficient, and manageable operations. But there is one other attribute I must highlight
which Kasie pos$esses...her ability to develop loyalty and satisfaction within a group of employees. She believes in
the fundamental values of operating with integrity, treating people with respect, and maintaining a positive working
envirorunent. People flock to Kasie and strive for new potentiai tkough her motivation and example.
I write this letter to "whom it may concem", because it is unknown what Kasie's future holds" She is unstoppable.
What I do know is Kasie will achieve greater things than she has already. and will be an enormous benefit to
whaterer venrure she next chsoses. I offer my heartfelt endorsement ofher capabilities and potential.
