Introduction to SharePoint Information ArchitectureGregory Zelfond
SharePoint Information Architecture is the art and science of organizing and labeling the content (documents, data, sites) to support findability and usability
SEO involves optimizing websites to achieve high rankings in organic search results. It is the process of getting websites listed prominently in search engines through both technical and content-based methods rather than paid placement. Search engines use bots to crawl, index, and rank websites according to over 200 factors related to relevance, quality content, and popularity. Effective SEO strategies focus on relevant, unique content while avoiding black hat techniques like keyword stuffing. Regular audits, testing, and maintenance are important for ongoing optimization.
To ignore search engine optimization (SEO) is a mistake, as Google is responsible for the majority of website traffic from search engines. While there is no magic switch for success with Google, committing to SEO best practices over the long run can lead to a strong relationship with Google and increased traffic. The document provides tips on evaluating a website's current search rankings and focusing SEO efforts on niche keywords rather than overly competitive broad keywords.
Progressive enhancement is an approach where core content and functionality must be available to all users through basic HTML and CSS, while enhanced features like Flash, JavaScript, and richer formatting can be optionally loaded to provide richer experiences to browsers that support them. This helps sites work for all users, including search engines that may not be able to see Flash or execute scripts. Tools like NoScript can help test how sites look without scripts. Methods like SWFObject allow replacing HTML content with Flash movies while keeping the same HTML content available for search engines and non-Flash users. It is important to use these techniques properly and not rely solely on Flash to avoid search engine and accessibility issues.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.
