Fixed fork spreaders are attachments for lift trucks that stabilize wide or sagging loads during transport. They can include features like load stabilizers, sideshifting, additional forks, and adjustable forks. Fixed fork spreaders are available in three mounting types - ITA hook, slip over carriage, and slip on fork mounted - to accommodate various lift truck capacities and configurations. Fixed Fork Spreaders
Fixed Fork Spreader frames are designed to stabilize extra wide loads when being transported on a
lift truck. These attachments are generally used to assist when handling product such as roof
trusses, long beams, or wide loads that sag at the ends. Units can be designed with load
stabilizers, sideshifting, additional forks, adjustable forks, and special features to suit a variety of
applications. All units are to be used in conjunction with the forks on the existing lift truck. The lift
truck forks must carry the majority of the load. As a general rule, the maximum frame width must
not exceed 3 times the truck carriage width. As with all special application designed units, detailed
load information is required to determine the features for each attachment.
1. Product to be handled including dimensions and weights.
2. Description of application, stacking, unloading, etc? Indoor or outdoor environment?
3. Mounting type? ITA hook, Pin carriage or Slip On Fork Mount.
4. Existing truck carriage width and fork size.
5. Frame width required (Maximum frame width is three times the truck carriage width).

 Will fit onto existing ITA Class II, III, or IV truck carriage.
 Designed for trucks 5,000 lbs to 15,000 lbs Capacity
 Can be mounted onto sideshifter.
 Load backrests may create interference issues.
 Supplied with Quick Disconnect lower hooks for quick and easy change over.
 Various carriage widths and fork sizes available to fit specific application.
 Unit supplied will typically only fit one carriage width (due to mounting hook spacing).

 Will fit onto existing Pin Type truck carriage.
 Designed for trucks 15,500 lbs. to 30,000 lbs. capacity.
 Can be mounted onto sideshifting or fork positioning carriage.
 Truck carriage will need to be modified with weld on brackets for securing the Fixed Fork
Spreader frame.
 Various carriage widths and fork sizes available to fit specific application.
