FIWARE iHubs are physical facilities that provide training, coaching, hackathons and collaboration opportunities to help developers and startups/SMEs build applications using FIWARE technologies. They work to expand the FIWARE marketplace and certify applications as FIWARE-ready or IoT-ready. FIWARE ZONE innovation centers in Seville and Malaga provide IoT specialists and labs to help enterprises, along with urban labs for devices and networks and a platform for managing and using device data. They also have agreements with universities for access to labs and equipment to facilitate IoT projects and hold open calls on IoT topics like smart cities.
