🠶 Rainforest – dense forest with high rainfall.
🠶 Desert – dry, barren area of land.

🠶 Mountains – large natural elevations of the
earth's surface.
🠶 Ocean – large body of salt water.
First Conditional
🠶 Use: Real or probable situations in the future.
🠶 Structure: If + present simple, will + verb.
🠶 Example: If we recycle more, we will reduce
pollution.
🠶 Example: If people plant more trees, the air
will be cleaner.
Second Conditional
🠶 Use: Hypothetical or unlikely situations.
🠶 Structure: If + past simple, would + verb.
🠶 Example: If I lived near the coast, I would clean the
beach every weekend.
🠶 Example: If the government invested in renewable
energy, pollution would decrease.
First vs Second Conditional
🠶 First Conditional: Real situations – If + present, will + verb.
🠶 Second Conditional: Hypothetical situations – If + past,
would + verb.
🠶 Example (First): If we use less plastic, the ocean will be
cleaner.
🠶 Example (Second): If I were president, I would ban single-
use plastics.
