1. SUBJECT: VOLUNTEER FIRST-TIMER EXPERIENCE

Hello my fellow MDRT member,
I'd like to ask for some support with my PGA Assistant Director Duties. I commit to you that it will be
enjoyable, rewarding and that you will make many new friends and build onto your international
network.
I have been appointed as the PGA Assistant Director volunteer of the FIRST-TIME EXPERIENCE
Task Force at the 2015 New Orleans Annual Meeting. It will be our duty as volunteers to ensure that
the first timers get excited about the annual meeting and to make them feel comfortable about
navigating the meeting and to encourage them to get involved with MDRT and the PGA. We will also
make sure that we get over 3000 first timers into the function hall for the First-Time Experience event
on the Sunday and in some cases a couple of us will man First Timer Booths to answer questions. It
with all this in mind that I humbly request my fellow MDRT members to join my task force to assist
me to pull these important duties off!
Here's how a commitment of about 2-4 hours breaks down if you volunteer:
#1.) Attending the PGA Orientation session on Saturday June 13th at 4:30-5:30pm.
#2.) Assist at the first time experience event and venue on Sunday June 14 between 4:30-6:00pm.
#3.) Possibly attending the First-Timer Booths as and when required on the Saturday or Sunday.
Even if you are not able to attend on the Saturday the orientation meeting as above please feel free
to still volunteer as i will hold a makeup session on the Sunday before the main event. You will be
relieved from your duties after the First Timer Event on Sunday after 6:00 pm and can join any other
volunteer task force
If you can help, are interested in lending a hand to the success of the meeting, enhancing your
personal experience, and meeting new friends, please follow the instructions below to sign up as a
PGA volunteer but also please drop me an email directly as confirmation so I can follow up
and add you to my list:
A) IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED FOR THE MEETING:
#1.) Go to: www.mdrt.org/pga
#2.) Click PGA volunteer Sign Up
#3.) Log in with your MDRT member # and Date of Birth
#4.) Under the drop down tab select FIRST-TIME EXPERIENCE as choice number one.
#5.) Under the adjacent drop down tab for who recruited you select me: KOBUS KLEYN

2. #6) Provide the date you plan to arrive, language(s) you speak and then hit submit.
B) IF YOU HAVE NOT YET REGISTERED FOR THE MEETING:
At the end of the meeting registration process you will be asked if you would like to volunteer for
PGA. Click the Yes button. Follow steps 4 – 6 above.
