This document discusses return to work (RTW) in Finland. It outlines the various actors involved in RTW, including citizens, municipalities, employers, insurance companies, hospitals, and research institutes. It also describes how the RTW environment has changed over time, such as a 2005 amendment that transferred total treatment costs to insurance companies and a recent focus on faster rehabilitation. Traditional and new customer-centered treatment models are presented, with the new model aiming to get customers healthy and back to work more quickly through a coordinated process.
