We started in 2008 as the first company fully focused on iPhone applications. In three years, we consolidated our leadership and expanded our services to new Rich Mobile platforms, such as iPad, Android, BlackBerry and mobile websites for Smartphones. Our three business models are: Tailor Made Apps, Licensed Apps, and Fingertips Products.
Nostro Studio is a mobile app development studio with the objective of developing new businesses and experiences for users through interactive, social mobile technologies. They have a 6 step process for developing apps that includes concept, co-creation, production, activation, business intelligence, and feedback. They have developed apps for a variety of clients across different industries and platforms like iOS, Android, and more. Their portfolio includes motivational, informational, catalog, and customized apps.
The document discusses the growth of mobile applications and application stores from 2008-2011. It notes there are now over 1.1 million applications with 414% growth from 2009-2010. Application stores have grown 500% since 2009 and are distributed across many different stores. Most downloads occur on primary app stores like Apple and Android stores. The mobile app market is predicted to generate $35 billion in revenue by 2015. Effective app distribution requires planning across owned, earned, and paid media as well as optimizing listings on various app stores. Factors like app size, pricing, and store relevance should be considered for distribution.
The report summarizes app store analytics for the Apple App Store, BlackBerry App World, Google Android Market, Nokia Ovi Store, and Windows Marketplace in June 2010. It finds that the percentage of apps with in-app purchases is higher for the Apple App Store on iPad (10%) than iPhone (2%), with games and social networking having the most. It also lists the top grossing paid and free apps with in-app purchases for each store, noting the most successful apps and their monetization strategies.

Unleashing the Power of the iPhone Apps.pdfTechugo Canada
The best iPhone app development company has changed the face of mobile technology and ushered in a new era of connectedness since its ground-breaking launch in 2007. The iPhone’s robust ecosystem of software, or “apps,” is a critical component of its success. Our daily lives have become entirely dependent on iPhone apps, which give users access to ease and functionality never before possible.

The iPhone has a simple home screen interface with icons for phone, mail, web, and music functions. It can also run various apps, take photos, and watch videos through its high-resolution touch screen and built-in sensors and cameras.
Branded mobile applications are created by large brands to increase engagement and sometimes generate sales. The document discusses three branded mobile apps:
1) Pizza Hut's mobile app allows users to order pizza from their phone, the first national pizza chain to offer this functionality. It has over 1 million downloads and $1 million in sales.
2) Purina's PetCentric Places app lets users find pet-friendly locations and share pet photos. It aims to increase brand engagement without direct sales.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

CAKE: Sharing Slices of Confidential Data on BlockchainClaudio Di Ciccio
Presented at the CAiSE 2024 Forum, Intelligent Information Systems, June 6th, Limassol, Cyprus.
Synopsis: Cooperative information systems typically involve various entities in a collaborative process within a distributed environment. Blockchain technology offers a mechanism for automating such processes, even when only partial trust exists among participants. The data stored on the blockchain is replicated across all nodes in the network, ensuring accessibility to all participants. While this aspect facilitates traceability, integrity, and persistence, it poses challenges for adopting public blockchains in enterprise settings due to confidentiality issues. In this paper, we present a software tool named Control Access via Key Encryption (CAKE), designed to ensure data confidentiality in scenarios involving public blockchains. After outlining its core components and functionalities, we showcase the application of CAKE in the context of a real-world cyber-security project within the logistics domain.
