This finance reporting tool was created by Stephen Bedwell to extract cost and project management (CPM) data from reports to record daily hours usage by task. The user-friendly tool produces daily and weekly financial reports, including a breakdown by reporting line and daily/weekly overall work rates. It allows CPM data to be entered and extracted automatically from reports using visual basic code to highlight discrepancies between hours used and CPM data for investigation. The extracted CPM data populates a daily report of hour usage and is pulled through to another screen where it is collated against budget lines to produce a flash report for commercial financial reporting.

- 2. 2 This part of the tool is where CPM data can be entered. CPM data is extracted automatically from reports using VB code and is compared against Hours used by the operation. It highlights discrepancies for investigation and populates subsequent reports with button presses.
- 3. 3 The extracted CPM data from the previous screen populates the report below, giving daily break downs of hour usage. The data is also automatically pulled through to the following screen, where it is collated against the budget lines. From here, a flash is produced for commercial financial reporting.
