He has invested in professional camera equipment and enjoys capturing photos at the skatepark. Jacques: I’m notreallytoosure.HoweverIdo feel the whole scooteringsceneisn’tasbigin
Yorkshire asit isin Manchester.Alsothe SkateparksinandaroundManchesterare some of the best
inthe country,there isn’tasmany inYorkshire.Anotherreasonwouldbe myfriends.Ihave abig
and close friendshipgroupwithamassive inspirational atmosphere aswe all have alotof respectfor
one anotherand itkeepsupgoing.I couldn’timagine havingfriendslikewhatIdoif I wasstill in
Yorkshire.

Jacques: My 2 favourite indoorparksare BeastRampz inManchesterand Ramp 1 in Warrington.
Both parksare fairly local.Andmyfavourite outdoorisIrlammylocal,I grew upon thispark.
Sarah: Do youfeel the more the sporthas progressedthe more the facilitieshave improved?
Jacques: Definitely,therehave beensomanynew places thathave openedduringthe space of a
fewyears.Notonlydoesitprogressthe sport butit alsowill helpthe riderprogress,the betterthe
park the betterthe rider.WhenI thinkbackto whenI startedridingthere wasonlya few parks.And
theyseemed greatatthe time.Like there isone inStockportcalledBoneswhich hasn’thadmuch
developmentinall the yearsithas beenopen. It’sstill opennow butlacksquality whencomparedto

Sarah: Where doyoufeel yourfuture isheadinginandout of the sport?
Jacques: Well I have one yearleftincollege tocomplete myPhotographycourse.Thenmaybe
furthereducation,Ihaven’tthoughtaboutittoomuch as I am doingan extrayearso have a lot of
time to thinkaboutit.
Andwiththe sport I can’t see myself quittinganytime soondue tohow muchI enjoyitand how
much itconnectsme to my friends.Iwouldn’twant togive thatup as itreallydoesmeansomuch to
me.
