The document summarizes a study on the distribution of frog species across three phases of reclamation at The Wilds conservation center in Ohio. Water quality parameters and habitat characteristics were measured at 30 ponds across recently reclaimed, middle, and older reclamation phases. Although environmental conditions differed between regions, frog species distribution was similarly found across all three phases of reclamation. In particular, green frogs were found at all sites while bullfrogs were less common in the northern region and pickerel frogs were absent from the northern region. Statistical tests showed environmental variables influenced regional differences more than they influenced frog distribution patterns between regions.
