This is my film script

1. Joey Pinder
Film Script
Fade to:
EXT. Ringwood Town - Night
The film starts with a wide shot showing the main character,
Hugo, standing against a building in a town at night. A closer
shot shows him on his phone, tracking something. That
something turns out to be an employee of an evil corporation
that appears respectable to the rest of the public. The
employee walks past Hugo, not realising that he is hacking the
employee, then Hugo walks away into the night. During this, a
monologue about technology is said from Hugo.
Hugo (Monologue)
The world has changed. Technology has taken over. Everywhere
we stand, everywhere we look, everywhere we step foot,
technology follows.
Hugo
(Whispering to himself) Got you
Hugo (Monologue)
We all know what technology can do, but still we don’t fear
it. Why? Are we all just ignorant, stupid, or is it just that
we haven’t seen the power technology really has, and what it
can do to this world. Either way, people will find out soon
enough.

2. Joey Pinder
Fade to:
EXT. Ringwood School - Afternoon
Now we meet Hugo’s only real friend, Alex, for the first time.
They both go to college, but Alex doesn’t know who Hugo really
is and what he does. The scene before turns out to be a memory
that Hugo had from last night and appears to be staring into
space as Alex tries to get his attention.
Alex
Hugo, oi Hugo. You were saying? What were you up to last
night?
Hugo
Oh, um, nothing really
Hugo (Monologue)
I lied. I can’t let him find out.
Alex
Hugo, hello? Hugo, you are not with it today are you? Well
anyway, I had a great night. (Continued talk about what Alex
did last night that fades out as Hugo Monologue continues)
Hugo (Monologue)
This is Alex. He thinks he knows me but, the truth is I know a
lot more about him. I’ve already hacked into his Facebook,
Twitter, and email. I can see all his transactions and bank
details, and search history. I don’t do this because I don’t
like him, in fact, he’s an alright guy. I just like to really
know who I’m talking to. And me? I just a hacker.
