This document summarizes observations from two ecology adventures in Florida. The first took place on Weeland Island on a overcast day in June, where American alligators, yellow rat snakes, wax myrtles, red mangroves, Spanish moss, strangler figs, turkey oaks, and poison ivy were observed. The second occurred in downtown St. Petersburg on a sunny day in June, where crape myrtles, cabbage palmettos, pond cypress, longleaf pines, parsley haws, slash pines, live oaks, coconut palms, Chinese fan palms, lemons, and lantana were seen.
