The FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. (FBINAA) is a non-profit,
international organization of nearly 18,000 senior law enforcement
professionals dedicated to providing our communities, states, countries, and
profession with the highest degree of law enforcement expertise, training,
education and information. We are the strongest law enforcement leadership
network in the world and are dedicated to strengthening the rule of law

The FBINAA’s forty-eight Chapters, forty-four domestic and four international,
are the heart and soul of the FBI National Academy Associates. It is at the
chapter level where our members and their families are professionally,
socially, and personally linked to each other and their region’s law enforcement
leadership network. Chapters host various training events throughout the year
and provide awards, recognition and benefits to their members. n

YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
The FBINAA hosts a summer training event for high school students at the FBI
AcademycalledtheYouthLeadershipProgram(YLP).Thisprogrammirrors,on
ayouthlevel,theNationalAcademyProgram.YLPismadepossiblethroughthe
cooperation of the FBI and sponsorships by Alliances and Chapters. Students
musthavedemonstratedhighacademicstandardsandgoodcitizenship
to be nominated by the local Chapter for this prestigious program. n
FBINAA’S CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
Charitable –The charitable purpose of our Foundation is to provide relief for
associationmembersandtheirfamilieswhoareinunusuallydirecircumstances,
due to calamity, debilitating hardships or illnesses, natural disaster, or other
terrible circumstances to include a member’s on-duty death or serious injury
and to the members and family members of other FBI affiliated nonprofit law
enforcement associations.
Educational
–TheeducationalpurposeofourFoundationistooffer scholar-
shipsforeducationalandprofessionaldevelopmentopportunitiestomembersof
theAssociationand/ortheirchildrenandgrandchildren,andtomembersofother
FBI affiliated nonprofit law enforcementassociationsandtheirchildren.
Scientific – The initial scientific purpose of our Foundation is to establish a
Law EnforcementCriminal Justice Science and Innovation Award to annually
recognize an individual or organization that has made the most significant
overall contribution to the profession through the introduction of a new or
significantly improved law enforcementcriminal justice product, technology,
processortechnique. n

The Annual Training Conference and Law Enforcement
Expo attracts approximately 2,000 attendees, consisting
of delegates, guests, professionals from various law
enforcementorganizations,guestspeakersandalliance
partners.The annual conference has a long history
of providing delegates with a robust agenda of
informative training seminars on law enforcement in
the 21st Century. The law enforcement expo allows
conference delegates to browse nearly two hundred
vendors, many of which are our alliances, and learn
about new and innovative products, training,
technology and services available for use in their
organizations and departments.
Members look forward to this energizing conference
which affords them the opportunity to further their
knowledge by attending the many training session
availableandtoreconnectwithcolleagues,whohave
now become their lifelong friends. n

YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (YLP)
For those Alliance sponsors that have a special interest in youth leadership,
support of the YLP may be just for you. Our annual YLP focuses on week-
long instruction for 60 participants which mirrors the prestigious National
Academy program for select participants ages 14-16.Tuition and lodging are
provided to the student at no charge. n

Donations to the FBINAA Charitable Foundation positively impact the NAA
