This document describes a study conducted on developing an automated patient record management system for St. Francis Hospital Nsambya. It outlines the background and problems with the current manual system, including duplication of data, inconsistencies, and difficulty analyzing patient medical histories. The objectives are to computerize patient, staff, and drug supplier records to address issues with the manual system. The study involved analyzing the existing system and user requirements to design a new electronic system using databases, PHP, and MySQL. The system was implemented and tested to automate record keeping and improve management of patient information at the hospital.
This thesis examines interactions between antiretroviral HIV treatment and recreational drugs. It will present data on how interactions can occur and be prevented. For over 30 years, HIV infection has continued to spread worldwide despite medical advances. Both the number of infections and deaths from the disease are still increasing. There is also prevalent recreational drug use, and historical data links new HIV infections to psychotropic substance use. In some patients, dangerous and even fatal interactions have been observed between treatments and recreational drugs. These drugs may not only cause adherence issues but also treatment failures. More research is needed on this important phenomenon, though science has revealed and prevented some dangerous interactions.

The system was created using Visual Studio 2013, SQL Server 2008, and Telerik controls with C#, HTML, and CSS.
